Tom Surrette joined Enovix as vice president of human resources in 2021. He is responsible for talent acquisition and management, leadership development and learning, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
Tom began his career in engineering roles at Phillips/Signetics, before joining Cypress Semiconductor. At Cypress, he took on roles in engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and product development before being named business unit director for micropower SRAM. From there, he spent nearly a decade running business units, including as vice president for non-volatile memory in 2005. In his business unit leadership roles Tom oversaw acquisitions, licensing, development, and manufacturing agreements with business partners. He also served on the board of directors for Simtek Corporation. In 2007, he was named senior vice president of worldwide operations for Cypress and was later promoted to executive vice president of human resources in 2008. In 2014, Tom founded ServiceQ LLC, a business consulting and software development company.
He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A from Santa Clara University. He is a named inventor on 5 patents.
