Steve Bakos
Steve joined Enovix in May 2026 as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, where he is responsible for scaling the global sales organization and driving sustainable revenue growth across the company’s target markets and applications.
Steve brings more than 35 years of semiconductor sales and marketing experience. Prior to joining Enovix, he served as Vice President of Corporate Account Sales at Infineon Technologies, where he led the Apple account and helped restore the business to growth while significantly expanding its pipeline of design opportunities. Earlier at Infineon, he served as Senior Director of Switching Power for the Americas, leading a technical marketing and applications engineering organization responsible for over $0.5B in revenue.
Previously, Steve held executive commercial leadership roles at Xicor, Intersil, Conexant, Active-Semi, and SiTime, where he built a track record of rebuilding go-to-market organizations that drove increased revenue and profitability. Most notable were the turnarounds of Xicor and Intersil, which saw a nearly tenfold appreciation in valuation during his tenure. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at Linear Technology, renowned for its industry leading gross margins, in sales and marketing roles of increasing responsibility, including pricing.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cornell University and completed an executive program in leadership, innovation management, strategy and finance at INSEAD.
